Waterbury Cottage Renovation

This renovation reimagined the primary suite and powder room by honoring this 1939 cottage’s existing character while updating it for modern living. In the primary suite, we reconfigured the bath to improve flow and functionality, removing a walk-through closet to expand the footprint, allowing for a more open, light-filled space. The custom vanities, finished to echo the home’s original wood trim, anchor the space with warmth. To maintain storage without compromising historical integrity, we introduced a wall of custom cabinetry in the bedroom. We incorporated period-appropriate elements like hex tile, deep greens, floral accents and brass with modern detailing.

The finished spaces respect the historic elements of the house, ensuring its charm and character endure.
