This new construction custom home project in the Echo Valley golf course community, located south of Des Moines, in Norwalk, Iowa, began in late 2019 and was completed in the summer of 2022. The project was a collaboration between clients, designer, and builder from the very beginning. Morris Lare was involved in every aspect of this new build from creating initial space plans, to selecting all materials and finishes, to the final styling of the shelves in the great room. The concept for the home was a blend of modern and rustic elements, rooted in nature, inspired by the family’s love of the outdoors and their time spent in Montana.
