We always start with function and follow with aesthetics. If a design doesn’t work (literally or figuratively), then it doesn’t matter how beautiful it is. There are a lot of pretty pictures floating around on Pinterest that aren’t very practical for every day life.
We begin every project not with inspiration photos but by asking how the space is going to be used 90% of time – as in how you live day to day. Obviously, the end result will be beautiful, but it has to function for the long haul to meet our strict standards.
Morris Lare designs complete rooms or homes from start to finish – pre-planning to design drawings, furnishings to accessories and art.
Each individual project has a unique set of requirements, but we follow the same process every time, which allows us to deliver our clients the best results and experience.
